Londonderry Fish & Game Club constructed training ranges to ensure uninterrupted access to general membership facilities. These ranges are restricted to specific formal training purposes and are not available for general use or personal use.
Ranges at Londonderry Fish & Game Club, Inc., designated as "TRAINING RANGE(S)," are to be used solely for courses, classes, training, and clinics. The training ranges will not be available for general membership use except during sanctioned events approved by the Club Leadership.
All training range use request should use the new 2025 Traning Range Use Request Form.
INSURANCE REQUIRED
All instructors shall provide LFGC Leadership with a current certificate of insurance specifically and directly related to instructional shooting activities and disciplines prior to receiving approval to use any training ranges. No training shall commence until this certificate of liability insurance is submitted to LFGC Leadership.
COURSE CONDUCT OUTLINE
Every instructor shall provide to LFGC a course conduct outline FOR the course to be taught. (The course conduct outline does not need to contain the actual curriculum material, but the operational protocols of how the range will be controlled, what safety protocols will be observed) when/how firearms are handled, clearing stoppages/double-feeds, reloading of magazines, Safety/Emergency plan.
INSTRUCTOR CREDENTIALS
Instructor shall provide details relevant to firearms instruction, experience and/or credentials such as IALFE, SAFTEA, NRA, USCCA, Sig Academy, Smith & Wesson, etc. In some specific instances, Club Leadership reserves the right to challenge the competence of an Instructor who may or may not teach classes on LFGC ranges for purposes of safety.
SCHEDULING
First come First served. Due to demand, LFGC training ranges have minimum student requirements: 25-Training Range – 4 students; 50-Training Range – 6 students; 15-Training Range – 4 students. Requests shall be submitted a minimum of four (4) weeks prior. Instructors shall fill out the Range Event form provided by leadership. No courses will be scheduled more than eight (8) weeks in advance, without prior Board approval. No more than two courses within a 16 week period shall be scheduled without Board or Officer approval.
While LFGC does not charge fees to use training ranges, a fee may be assessed for clean-up depending on the extent of any refuse, trash or excessive debris left at the conclusion of the class.
A modest donation to the club is always welcome and encouraged.
When scheduling conflicts occur, LFGC reserves the right to move a class to an alternate range. While this is extremely rare, Leaders will never cancel a class due to a schedule conflict but will make an alternative suitable arrangement.
CANCELLATIONS
It is absolutely frowned upon for any Instructor who schedules a class then cancels the class within 3-5 days. Any Instructor who cancels a class 3-5 days prior to the class date, will be required to provide a course roster containing the range minimums 14 days prior to the class. Three Course cancellations within 3-5 days prior to the class, will result in denial of training range scheduling and use.
CLUBHOUSE USE
For Classroom use in the Musquash Center Clubhouse, a fifty-dollar ($50.00) fee will be required for use up to eight (8) hours.
MARKETING AND PROMOTION
LFGC only promotes events endorsed by the Board and Officers. Instructors must market and plan their own courses. All scheduled classes will be added to the website's calendar with an enrollment link. LFGC will not be responsible for writing course descriptions.
PROHIBITED PRACTICES
None of the training ranges shall be used by any member who is an instructor under the guise or pretext of conducting a class for other non-class purposes. Member/Instructors found to be using the range for a “friends and family,” range day, will be barred from all future use. The training ranges are in demand by other instructors therefore, using the ranges for personal use is discouraged. Subverting the Training Range purpose will lead to permanent preclusion for use.
OTHER LIMITED USES PERMITTED
When Classes are not scheduled or taking place on the training ranges, Active Law Enforcement, Licensed Armed Security, Active Duty (Deployable) Military may request to make use of the training ranges by contacting a Board Member or Club Officer.
