The Londonderry Fish and Game Club, a non-profit, membership-owned club, was established in 1951 for the purpose of promoting conservation, perpetuating safety and ethics through Hunter Education Programs, community stewardship through events offered to the community, promote respect for land through the goodwill and respect by men and women sportsmen, and the encouragement for the ethical and proper use of our natural and wildlife resources.
Each year many families come to the Londonderry Fish and Game Club to participate in the events the club hosts. For example, The Londonderry Fish & Game Club’s Annual Fishing Derby last May had nearly 300 children turn out, ranging in ages from 4 to14. The Derby offered the children an opportunity to be outdoors and enjoying sport fishing. Additionally, we opened the Londonderry Fish and Game Club to other local civic clubs for their events, such as the Kiwanis Club Fishing Derby, at no cost to the Kiwanis Organization for the use of our facilities.
Currently, with so many competitive offerings on Cable TV and the advances of interactive video games, children are less likely today to be outdoors, observing, learning and viewing the wildlife and habitat that is so highly regarded in New Hampshire.
But, through the club’s generosity and sponsorship of these civic activities, coupled with the members’ non-paid voluntary dedication, this makes these public events possible.
Londonderry Fish and Game Club is committed to fostering promotion and protection of hunting, fishing and trapping as well as the conservation of fish and wildlife habitat. The Londonderry Fish & Game Club is a non-profit member organization promoting conservation, environmental education, sportsmanship, and hunting and fishing activities.
While Londonderry Fish & Game Club enthusiastically hosts these many public events, the reality is these events do sometimes present a financial challenge. Londonderry Fish and Game Club and would sincerely appreciate any support you are able to offer. Whether that support be club membership, a monetary donation or offering other goods or services, Londonderry Fish & Game Club is committed to its role of stewardship in the community. All donations no matter ow big or small are, graciously accepted.
While contributions made to the Londonderry Fish and Game Club are not tax deductible, Your financial contribution will go directly to the operating and maintenance costs of our 87-Acre facility, enabling us to bring in 2006 with many events for the community.
